“LEARN TO PLAY” ADULT TENNIS CLINICS
This clinic will offer players the basics needed to enjoy this lifetime sport: forehand and backhand strokes, volleying, serving, and of course, how to score a match!
*2024 Tennis Club membership is not required to participate.
The dates will be Monday, April 29 at 7:30-9:00 PM and Wednesday, May 1 & Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 6:30-8:00 PM.
JUNIOR TOURNAMENTS 2024
Will begin Aug 9 & will end Aug. 19, 2023 barring rain. Rain dates Aug 20 & 21

SENIOR TOURNAMENTS
The Adult Tournaments will normally take place in August starting at 6 pm each evening, with the following week reserved for rain dates.
Friday AUG 9th – Mixed Doubles
Monday- AUG 12th Men’s Singles
Tuesday- AUG 13th Ladies’ Singles
Wednesday- AUG 14th Men’s Doubles
Thursday-AUG 15TH Ladies’ Doubles

CANADA DAY TOURNAMENT
Join us to celebrate for this fun annual holiday tournament, sponsored by Sandi Heins. Pre-registration to play will be required, in the week prior to the tournament, by emailing Sandi (sandi128cats@bell.net) $4.00 entry fee. Wear your best red & white outfits! All Intermediate (ages 14 & up) and Adult/Senior Club members welcome!
FUN TOURNAMENTS
FRIDAY JUNE 7th These tournaments are open to Intermediate and Senior age players. It is not necessary to have a partner or to be a member to play. $5.00 entry fee.
Lila Prince Memorial Tournament: Saturday, June 15, 2024, contact Meena or Janet for more details, played in the morning as part of regular Morning Group’s schedule.
Randle Donnelly Memorial Tournament– more details TBA, typically held on a Saturday in late July in support of Hospice Renfrew with a Cash BBQ for lunch.
Eldon Ferguson Memorial Over 35 Tournament– more details TBA, typically held over a full weekend (Friday night- Sunday afternoon) in September. Organized by Eldon’s son James Ferguson.
SENIOR INVITATIONAL
This annual event is open to members and non-members 35 years and over, and is a great way to close out the season. It is normally held on the 2nd weekend of September.
YEAR END BANQUET
This annual event is a highlight of the year and is always well attended.
It is a chance to gather in fellowship over a catered meal, reminisce on the accomplishments of the season, vote in our Annual General Meeting to elect new Executive Members, and have the presentation of our year-end awards. Will be held Saturday, October 19, 2024 at the Renfrew Curling Club! Stay tuned in the Fall on how to register and pay for your dinner tickets!
