“LEARN TO PLAY” ADULT TENNIS CLINICS

Our Learn-to-Play Tennis clinics for beginner adult and intermediate players are a great opportunity to practice or brush up on skills from our wonderful teacher Robert Pelletier.

Racquets will be available to borrow if you need one! Come out and give Tennis a try! We’re a friendly and welcoming crew!

This clinic will offer players the basics needed to enjoy this lifetime sport: forehand and backhand strokes, volleying, serving, and of course, how to score a match!
*2025 Tennis Club membership is not required to participate.

The dates will be Monday, May 5, Wednesday, May 7 & Thursday, May 8, 2025 at 6:30-8:00 PM.

JUNIOR TOURNAMENTS 2025

Will begin Aug 8 & will end Aug. 15, 2025 barring rain. Rain dates Aug 18 & 19

SENIOR TOURNAMENTS

The Adult Tournaments will take place in August starting at 6:00 pm each evening, with the following week reserved for rain dates.

Friday AUG 8th – Mixed Doubles

Monday- AUG 11th Men’s Singles

Tuesday- AUG 12th Ladies’ Singles

Wednesday- AUG 13th Men’s Doubles

Thursday-AUG 14TH Ladies’ Doubles

CANADA DAY TOURNAMENT

Join us for this fun annual holiday tournament on July 1st starting at 6:00 PM, sponsored by Sandi Heins.

$5.00 entry fee. All are welcome! Dress in your best Red & White outfits! This Tournament is open to Intermediates, Adults & Senior Renfrew Tennis Club Members.
All skill levels Welcome – it’s a FUN Tournament. Fun, Prizes, & Snacks after & then enjoy the Town’s Fireworks Show!

FUN TOURNAMENTS
FRIDAY JUNE 6th These tournaments are open to Intermediate and Senior age players. It is not necessary to have a partner or to be a member to play. $5.00 entry fee.

Randle Donnelly Memorial Tournament– will be held on Saturday, July 12 in support of Hospice Renfrew with a Cash BBQ for lunch.

Eldon Ferguson Memorial Over 35 Tournament– more details TBA, typically held over a full weekend (Friday night- Sunday afternoon) in September. Organized by Eldon’s son James Ferguson.

SENIOR INVITATIONAL

This annual event is open to members and non-members 35 years and over, and is a great way to close out the season. It is normally held on the 2nd weekend of September.

YEAR END BANQUET

This annual event is a highlight of the Tennis season and is always well-attended. It is a chance to gather in fellowship over a catered meal, reminisce on the accomplishments of the season, vote in our Annual General Meeting to elect new Executive Members, and have the presentation of our year-end awards. Will be held Saturday, October 25, 2025 at the Ma-te-Way Community Hall! Stay tuned in the Fall on how to register and pay for your dinner tickets!

Everyone is welcome! Members and non-members; serious and casual players; parents and friends. Join us for an evening of food, fun and celebration of everyone’s accomplishments this season!
